How It All Started

Harper’s Curtains & Blinds is a third generation family run business, first established in 1964 by Mr Edward Harper with his first shop opening Westbury High Street. His daughter Alex joined the business in 1986 and worked in the shop for many years.

Mr Harper has since had shops in Melksham and Trowbridge, the latter closed its doors in 2013 when Edward intended to retire. Business continued with selling made to measure curtains & blinds based on home visits and this in turn caused the business to grow again when Edward’s grandson Sam joined in 2020, who has taken over with the intentions of keeping the name going for many years to come.
